1. Orientation & Safety Training

  • Introduction to Hijama sets, cups, and equipment.

  • Sterilization, hygiene protocols, and infection control.

  • Contraindications & emergency precautions.

2. Types of Hijama (Cupping Methods)

  • Dry Hijama – suction without bleeding.

  • Wet Hijama – suction with controlled bloodletting.

  • Fire Hijama – traditional fire suction technique.

  • Moving Hijama – cupping massage technique.

3. Practical Sessions

  • Demonstration of cup placement on back, neck, and other therapeutic points.

  • Supervised practice on volunteers/patients.

5. Observation & Supervision

  • Mentor checks cup placement, suction strength & hygiene.

  • Guidance for handling patient comfort and after-care.

6. Professional & Ethical Training

  • Patient communication and counseling.

  • Clinical ethics in Hijama Therapy.

  • Management of side effects (mild bleeding, bruising, dizziness).

7. Final Evaluation & Certification

  • Practical test: Student performs a full Hijama Therapy session.

  • Submission of case study file.

  • Award of Internship Completion Certificate in Hijama Therapy.
